Need to rent the Community Building? (Not An ABC building) Contact Ray Woosley at 764-0804 The Arcadia Booster Club undertakes a unique balancing act at the change of each sports season. The gymnasium, four baseball diamonds and the practice batting cage on Community Road in Arcadia serve as the primary practice and game areas for the many children in the community. The facility is often used for football, volleyball, soccer, flag football and cheerleading practice simultaneously. Scheduling times for each sport is challenging at the least. Additionally, the Booster Club purchased 40 acres of land adjacent to the existing for constructing a new multi-featured sports complex. That area includes soccer, football and baseball fields. The Booster Club borrowed the funds for the project, and budgets the mortgage in addition to the usual expenses, so that you and your student-athletes can enjoy the facilities. The Booster Club needs help from all of the parents, community leaders and business owners. How can you help? Parents need to take part in all Booster Club meetings and support any fund-raisers which are designed to fund the Booster Club's many programs. Business owners of the community may contribute by helping to fund the project and by asking business associates to assist. Each ounce of effort will help build a stronger community which is good for the future of our children and the people who live and work here.
