NDSL is proud to offer Select Level Soccer for boys and girls U9 and above. Registration can be done by mail or walk up, if you would like to speak to one of our licensed coaches.

NDSL/Arcadia Booster Club Agreement
The Arcadia Boosters Club and The North Davidson Soccer League have reached an agreement for NDSL to run the recreational soccer program in the Arcadia area. NDSL will not be supplying or appointing the Recreational coaches. NDSL will need help from the Arcadia parents to fill coaching positions. NDSL is planning to run the soccer program as closely to Arcadia’s past system as possible. Players and coaches from previous years will be kept together, if they wish.
Arcadia parents are definitely going to be involved. In fact, the involvement of the Arcadia parents is an integral part for the success of the NDSL program! If you have questions, please call Mike Elder or Lori at (336) 775-2449.
Who/what is the NDSL?
The North Davidson Soccer League was founded in 1994 in an effort to provide two teams the opportunity to play at a higher level in hopes of improving the high school soccer program. In 2003 they fielded their first girl’s team. Since then it has grown to fifteen teams that are competitive with the best challenge teams in the state. One big difference between NDSL and other challenge clubs is that they do not actively recruit from outside of the North Davidson area. Their goal is to develop youth players in our area. All of the current board members are people that have come through the local booster programs.
Can I still coach?
Absolutely! They will still need parent involvement in coaching and league support.
How will the NDSL provide training for coaches?
There are several youth coach training courses offered by the state soccer association (NCYSA) that we will look to host. They will also provide internal training lead by high school and licensed club challenge coaches.
Will my cost increase?
No!
Will there be any significant changes?
The biggest immediate change will be the number of players and field size for each division. They will be following a more nationally accepted youth module that uses small sided play to better develop individual skills at a young age.
Where will we play?
Practices and games will take place at the Arcadia Fields on Community Road and the improved fields at Northwest Elementary.
Will we still play with Midway, Welcome and Ledford?
They plan to. For some ages it may depend on whether or not they will agree to follow the same youth modules as we are.

Sign up dates will be posted on this website, through email to our mailing list and in flyers sent to the schools. If your child has never played an Arcadia Boosters Club sport before, bring a copy of each child's birth certificate to the registration. Do not bring the original, as a copy must be kept in our files.
If you don't have a copy of your child's birth certificate, you can order a duplicate from the State of North Carolina at http://vitalrecords.dhhs.state.nc.us/vr/requests/. For other states, you can find a CDC link page here.
